As creatives, we have a responsibility to take a stand.

I wrote the radio for RAICES. The cries were real, recorded by ProPublica inside detention centers. We scripted around them, but the truth did the heavy lifting.

The campaign, led by Madonna Badger, was a full agency effort. Mannequin children in cages appeared across New York, wrapped in foil blankets. Signs read #NoKidsInCages. I took this photo in McCarren Park. It went viral.

This wasn’t just a campaign. It was a protest. Backed by RAICES Texas.

We used everything we had. Creativity. Urgency. Conviction.

Because sometimes the work has to scream.
